Ann Lucchesi is an enterprise relationship manager at Silicon Valley Bank in San Francisco. She works within the commercial banking division, serving as a key contact between tech banking and the private bank, delivering educational programs and providing thought leadership. She’s also a subject matter expert for all things related to private stock and equity compensation. In her current role, she’s primarily focused on helping founders and executives of private companies plan across their entire balance sheets.
In addition to her career at SVB, Ann is a certified financial planner and certified equity professional. She has also spent time working with companies on pre-IPO planning and post-IPO management. Throughout her career, Ann has enjoyed connecting clients with professionals who can help solve their financial planning issues and educating them on how best to achieve their financial goals. In short, she loves helping people understand their financial life.
Ann holds bachelor’s degrees in international business and finance from Oregon State University. She also has an MBA in finance from the Haas School of Business at University of California, Berkeley. When she’s not working, Ann volunteers and fundraises for her local food bank and local schools. She loves spending time with her three children and her dog, reading, cooking and playing cards with friends and family. She particularly relishes the Texas Hold’em tournaments she holds at her home.
Joe Koontz is market manager of Tailored Lending for SVB Private, a division of First Citizens Bank. In his role, Joe leads a national team that advises on and offers clients a wide range of custom credit solutions. Joe and his team analyze client balance sheets and compensation structures, finding ways to address financial goals with a focus on leverage efficiency and creativity. The opportunity to help entrepreneurs with the pursuit of their financial potential is what fuels Joe the most.
Joe is a Silicon Valley native with broad expertise in financing solutions for innovation economy executives and investors. Prior to joining Silicon Valley Bank, Joe was a member of the Wells Fargo loan team, focusing on debt and credit management. He had a lead role in launching the bank’s home preservation initiative. Joe also held positions in Bank of America’s consumer banking division.
Joe holds a bachelor’s degree from San Jose State University. Joe, his wife and their two children are active members of the local community, enjoy travel and rooting for Bay Area sports teams.
As a wealth consultant with SVB Private, a division of First Citizens Bank, Tim Couture provides a holistic financial planning approach tailored to each client’s specific needs and goals. Tim brings more than 15 years of wealth management experience to the SVB Private team, providing guidance on stock options, estate, income tax and insurance planning. Prior to joining SVB in 2019, he spent most of his career at an independent RIA working with executives of publicly traded companies.
Tim received a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and a Master of Science in Financial Planning from Bentley University in Waltham, Massachusetts. He also holds the Certified Financial PlannerTM (CFP®) designation and Series 7 and 66 licenses from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).
Tim lives in the greater Boston area with his wife and daughter. In his spare time, he enjoys playing golf, watching his local Boston sports teams and spending time with family and friends.
Lisa Puleo is director of Sales Origination at Silicon Valley Bank, a division of First Citizens Bank. In her role, Lisa works closely with venture capital investor clients to support the goals of their venture funds and corresponding portfolio companies.
Lisa is a passionate advocate of early-stage companies, helping facilitate capital raises and growth strategies through her broad network of industry relationships. As a venture capital industry veteran, Lisa enjoys advising investors, cultivating strong relationships and exploring innovative ways to align and support the growth of their financial goals.
Prior to joining Silicon Valley Bank, Lisa served as vice president at Capital Advisors Group, specializing in institutional cash investments, risk management and debt financing. Lisa also served as vice president of equity sales at Wells Fargo and Bank of America where she provided strategic financial guidance to a wide range of clients.
Lisa holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and management from Plymouth State University. Outside of the office, Lisa cherishes her time in Marblehead with her children and enjoys skiing at Loon Mountain, boating, cooking and design.
