A recent article in The Logic had the headline “Nowhere to grow: Canada’s biotech sector is booming, but a lack of lab space has some companies looking south”

Investors both inside and outside Canada are increasingly interested in the technology being developed by our biotech sector.  Recently the conversation has shifted from access to capital to access to space.  According to Colliers there is approximately 3.5M SF of unmet lab space in Canada which begs the question, will Canadian companies that have the potential to scale be forced to move south when they outgrow the space they have here?

Join SVB’s Anne Woods, in discussion with David Stern & Matthew Johnson from Colliers International, to discuss where we are now and why we have plenty of reasons to be optimistic about the future of lab space in Canada.

Please RSVP today to reserve your spot!
