We’re continuing to monitor and follow the guidance of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Health Department and the CDC to adjust our event production strategy as needed. RIDE
Join us on Saturday, October 2, 2021, and choose to ride 100, 50, or 20 miles with cyclists of all abilities including celebrities and pro-athletes such as Julian Edelman, Guy Fieri, George Hincapie & Christian Vande Velde, among others. Each route takes riders along scenic, country roads to the beach in Hyannis Port. All rides are fully supported, with rest stops every 25 miles and support vehicles on the road. SEE ROUTES
Please register for the Ride no later than July 29th to receive your jersey in time for the event.
RUN OR WALK
For those that don’t ride, our 5K run/walk takes place at Craigville Beach in Hyannis Port. Enjoy a jog with friends, or go for a new personal best. The walk is the perfect Challenge for families with small children. SEE ROUTE
DIY CHALLENGE
Create your own Challenge! Register through this site and check the 'DIY Challenge Rate.' The possibilities are limitless! Ride our original Hyannis Port route, join one of our Strava segments, or join Best Buddies Challenge staff, pro-cyclists and other DIY participants on virtual rides! DIY Ideas
For every DIY registration each participant will receive an SVB swag bag and SVB will be contributing $250 to Best Buddies overall fundraising.
Please register for the DIY Challenge no later than September 24th to receive your SVB swag bag in time for the event.
CELEBRATE
All roads lead to our Craigville Beach Finish Line in Hyannis Port. After you finish your event, enjoy a finish line celebration including delicious food and beverages, hosted by Anthony K. Shriver and special guests! Party Details

4. Select your Best Buddies Challenge (Bike Ride or Run/Walk), along with all remaining registration info.
5. Want to DIY your Challenge? Register through this site and check the 'DIY Challenge Rate.'
6. At the bottom of the registration form type in promo code "SVB" for the discounted $5 registration fee.
Note: By joining "Team SVB", you commit to a $5 registration fee, along with a fundraising commitment of $1,450. SVB will contribute $1,000 to each of the first 50 employee riders who meet the remaining $450 fundraising commitment. Employees may use their available donation matching funds to match their first $225 in funds raised. So sign up, raise or donate $225, and request a match!
