Click below for the Zoom Recording from Wednesday, November 10th of our exciting deep dive event: The State of U.S. Early-Stage Venture Q3 Report.
AngelList and Silicon Valley Bank came together to create this exclusive report for our clients, and we are excited to take a deep dive into its findings and what they mean for early-stage founders and investors going forward.
Â
The event will feature expert insights from Andrew Oddo and Bo Ren—Directors with SVB's early-stage Startup Banking team—and Abe Othman—Head of Data Science from AngelList.
All in all, Q3 2021 results indicated another strong quarter for early-stage venture, and our speakers will look at how:
— The gains from last year may be sustainable.Â
— 87% of events that happened to early-stage startups in the AngelList portfolio in the third quarter of 2021 were mark ups or positive exits. Â
— Capital flowed into startups in a wider array of industries than in the past.Â
— The share of deals and venture dollars that went to female founders bounced back after an underwhelming second quarter of 2021.
— New York is now the world’s second largest tech ecosystem—with over 9,000 startups, more than 100 incubators, nearly 200 co-working spaces and 4 of the top 15 startup studios.Â
of how the ongoing surge and third quarter results will impact early-stage startups.
Discover, too, what’s coming up for the fourth quarter and beyond!
