Flavia Araujo Trento is a managing director, private wealth advisor for First Citizens Wealth (formerly SVB Private), in the San Francisco Bay Area. She develops comprehensive, customized wealth management strategies for high-net-worth individuals, families, foundations, and trusts. Flavia specializes in providing complex financial guidance to innovators and she has extensive expertise in working with women, entrepreneurs, and executives.

Before joining SVB Private in 2021, Flavia spent 9 years as a senior vice president, senior portfolio manager at the Northern Trust Company, where she developed and implemented wealth management solutions for her clients. In addition, she has more than 15 years of experience as an equity analyst and portfolio manager with firms that include HighMark Capital Management, Harris Bretall Sullivan & Smith LLC, Montgomery Asset Management, and Kayne Anderson Rudnick LLC.

Flavia earned an MBA from the University of California, Los Angeles, and she holds a bachelor’s degree with honors in Political Economy of Industrial Societies from the University of California, Berkeley. She holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) and Certified Private Wealth Advisor® (CPWA®) designations.

A native of Brazil, Flavia lives in the San Francisco East Bay with her husband and their two teenagers. She enjoys international travel and reading.

Ryan Fox is a managing director, private wealth advisor for First Citizens Wealth (formerly SVB Private), in the San Francisco Bay Area. In his role, he develops, implements, and manages comprehensive wealth strategies for high-net-worth individuals, families, foundations, and trusts. Ryan has extensive knowledge and experience working with the principals driving the innovation economy and is a thought leader in environmental, social and governance (ESG) investing and sustainable investment strategies.

Before joining SVB Private in 2021, Ryan was a senior vice president, senior portfolio manager at the Northern Trust Company. Earlier, he worked in wealth management and investment roles at HighMarkCapital Management, Alexander Capital Advisors, and Merrill Lynch, where he constructed portfolios, managed research, and traded for a long/short hedge fund.

Ryan holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and history from Boston College. He lives in Mill Valley with his wife and their three children. In his spare time, he enjoys the outdoors, cycling and reading.

Joaquín is a Senior Vice President at SVB, a division of First Citizens Bank, in our Seattle/PNW market focusing on enterprise clients. In his role we helps Series A and beyond clients to scale their finance stack with venture lending alongside global treasury and liquidity solutions. 

Before joining SVB Seattle, he lived in San Francisco, learned to code at UC Berkeley, and helped to co-found a pre-seed company. 

Joaquín holds a bachelor's degree in economics from George Mason University. He lives in Ballard, Seattle with his wife and two children. In his spare time, he gets to think about how he wishes he had more spare time.
