Join us for a dynamic fireside chat kicking off 2026 featuring two leading voices in technology: Xiao Wang, CEO & Co-Founder of Boundless Immigration, and legendary venture capitalist Brad Feld, Co-Founder of Foundry.
Expect a spotlight on Boundless Immigration and what got Brad Feld excited about the company, followed by a dialogue on the U.S. talent acquisition landscape and what the new $100,000 fee for certain H-1B applications might mean for technology startups and venture capitalists alike in 2026.
Â
Part I: The Founder & Founder Story: Expect the journey of how Xiao secured a key investment from Foundry. Brad Feld, known for his "Give First" ethos and focus on building thriving startup communities, will discuss the non-obvious signals he looks for in highly regulated and complex spaces like immigration. Xiao will share how that capital was leveraged to scale, what he values in the Foundry partnership, and how to build a resilient company in a shifting politically environment.
Â
Part II: The Current Landscape in US Talent Acquisition (The H-1B Visa): The discussion will pivot to a challenge facing U.S. employers today: increased labor costs, the impact of the new H-1B $100,000 fee on technology startups, and the global market for talent. Gain actionable insights into what all of this might mean for your startup, investments, and broader U.S. competitiveness.
