Mark joined Prelude in 2013 to have a positive impact on the reversal of climate change. He invests in entrepreneurs applying emerging technologies to established industries that use a significant amount of our energy or physical resources.
Mark received a BS and MS in Chemical & Bio-molecular Engineering from Georgia Tech, and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. He has authored patents and publications in a wide variety of technologies focused on materials science in the fields of microelectronics, engineered polymers, advanced cements, barrier coatings, pharmaceutical delivery systems, and pulp & paper additives.
Prior to joining Prelude, Mark worked with the Celanese Corporation, a Fortune 500 company specializing in advanced materials and chemicals. Mark held a number of technical roles in new product development, application development, and process design, as well as commercial roles in technical marketing and business development. He also spent time with Terawatt Ventures, the solar investment team at Chevron Technology Ventures, and with sustainable chemistry start-up Novomer.
Joshua Posamentier is Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Congruent Ventures. He has rich experience in venture (Prelude Ventures, Intel Capital) and operating roles (Intel wireless chip, National Semi, TI), and entrepreneurship (CEO of Blipstream).
Josh oversees Congruent’s investments in Alloy Enterprises, Avalanche Energy, Bellwether Coffee, Climate Robotics, Ebb Carbon, Energetic Insurance, Fervo, Fox Robotics, Kodama, Lydian Labs, Machina Labs, Meati, First Street, Muon Space, Parallel Systems, Petra, Pico MES, PolySpectra, Rendered.AI, Robigo, Sense Photonics, TeleSense, VEIR, and Xtelligent.
Josh has over 50 patents issued or pending, holds a BA in physics from the University California at Berkeley, and holds dual MBAs from the Columbia Business School and Berkeley’s Haas School of Business.
Josh is an avid cyclist, skier, sailor, surfer, and photographer and lives with his family in the SF Bay Area.
Milo is the Co-Founder of NextGen Industry Group.
Milo has a long track record of industrializing the toughest technologies including Tesla, Fitbit, and micro-grids.

Dan is the head of the national Climate Technology and Sustainability practice.
He and his team manage hundreds of client relationships in low carbon energy, food, agriculture and transportation technologies. He is experienced in many aspects of early stage, growth, middle market, corporate and project financing. 
Prior to joining SVB in 2007, Dan was focused on corporate and asset finance at commercial banks and non-bank finance companies. He has experience in structured debt, large ticket leasing, partnering, syndications and public accounting.
