The pandemic created enormous disruption across the global economy. But few industries felt it more than healthcare — and life science innovators everywhere have responded to the challenge.

On July 21, join lead report author Jonathan Norris, Managing Director, Business Development; Chris Moniz, Head of Northwest & Northeast Healthtech and Medical Devices; and special guest Julie Grant, General Partner, at Canaan Partners, as they discuss SVB’s midyear Healthcare Investments and Exits Report.  Register for the webinar to get the latest in-depth metrics.

Preliminary highlights as of June 15th include:

• Venture fundraising dedicated to healthcare continued its rise from $16.8B at year-end 2020 to $21.8B in just the first half of 2021
• Led by platform investments, crossover investments in biopharma continue to surge, generating positive momentum and an IPO pipeline for the public markets
• Healthtech investments are at an all-time high!  At mid-year healthtech investments totaled $14.6B, surpassing last year's full-year total of $11.4B (US and Europe)

• IPO activity is up, but post-IPO performance in healthtech and biopharma are seeing a downward shift compared with the past two years

REGISTER TODAY and get the healthcare market trends that impact your business.
