In this fireside chat, HashiCorp Co-founder/CTO Armon Dadgar and Chief of Staff Kevin Fishner will talk with Mayfield Managing Director Navin Chaddha about building and scaling a distributed organization. Since its inception, HashiCorp has been predominantly remote, with employees spread across more than a dozen countries. HashiCorp believes that great systems and great people lead to great outcomes — but what do those pieces look like in practice?

As organizations weigh continuing to work remote versus returning to offices, HashiCorp has documented how it built a hybrid work model, with some employees based in an office, and others distributed across many geographies and time zones. They recently released How HashiCorp Works, a website dedicated to making their implicit practices and culture explicit, which open sources the accumulated knowledge on building and scaling a distributed company.

Kevin and Armon will discuss with Navin the lessons learned along the way, and answer attendee questions. Ahead of the session, we encourage attendees to visit How HashiCorp Works.
