Mike is the CCO at Bloc Ventures, a deep tech investor backing companies across Europe and typically focusing on cloud, connectivity, data science and security. He comes with a strong track record in building technology companies from a strategic, commercial and investment perspective, with 15 years in senior leadership positions at Arm Holdings and TTP Communications - two of the UK’s most progressive deep tech companies. Prior to Bloc, Mike Co-founded ADV and acted as CIO, investing over £85m in a portfolio of 30 companies, including Current Health, Push Doctor and UIPath. In addition, he made investments into VC funds managed by firms such as Entrepreneur First, IQ Capital and Seedcamp. During his career, Michael has led teams responsible for investing in excess of $500m in deep tech businesses.
Shane Jayaprakash is Vice President at Silicon Valley Bank (SVB). He is based in London and responsible for the Early Stage Practice team supporting high growth emerging tech & innovation clients.
Shane has been with SVB for 6 years based out of London. Prior to joining SVB, he held both Commercial and Corporate banking roles at HSBC and Lloyds Bank.
Shane holds a bachelors degree in Computer Science from Kings College London and a Financial Services degree from The University of Manchester.
