Silicon Valley Bank invites you to join us for our next Festival of Funding hybrid event. This event will focus on Parents in Tech and will feature a number of influential figures from across the ecosystem who will discuss what it takes to balance career and family ambitions. 

In the second part of the event we will be hearing from the investors on Angel Investment, Seed funding and beyond and how they have navigated investing in and raising funds themselves whilst being parents.


Most importantly for each session there will be time carved out to cover off any of your burning questions.

Born in London and raised in Lagos, June joined Samos Investments in 2018, investing in high growth European businesses. Prior to this, she started the first child-friendly coding school in the UK, Mums in Tech, which taught over 250 women to code in 3 years. She also held roles on the Venture Debt Team and Early Stage Banking Team at Silicon Valley Bank. Susan Allen

Susan Allen grew up in the city of champions - Boston, Massachusetts, and received her B.A. in communications and legal studies from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. After three years at a health care policy nonprofit in Boston, she moved to sto join the Open Society Foundations. Susan completed her master's in management at the London School of Economics and relocated to London to lead the Foundation's work on diversity and inclusion, and to launch Flo with her best friend Tara. Tara Priya Chandra
