Avion Gray is co-founder and CEO of an early-stage Fin Tech company that’s on a mission to revolutionise the way people save and invest for generations to come. The company has plans to launch its platform in the UK later this year.
Avion previously led the U.S. launch and international expansion of Clover, taking the smart point-of-sale platform from startup to global market leader. She began her career in investment banking and M&A, specialising in FinTech and B2B SaaS services.
Avion holds a bachelor's degree in International Business & Finance from Howard University and a MBA from Stanford University.
London Managing Partner, Wilson Sonsini
Daniel Glazer is an American technology lawyer, strategic business advisor, and the Managing Partner of Wilson Sonsini's London office. Since the 2010 launch of the UK Government's "Tech City" initiative, Dan has advised high-growth UK/European technology and life sciences companies on raising capital in the US and UK/Europe, expanding their businesses into US markets, and connecting with investors, corporates, and advisors.
Dan also leads the firm's US Expansion group, which supports UK and other non-US technology and life sciences companies through their US life cycle: US launch, expansion, commercial contracts, fundraising, M&A, and IPO.

Folake Shasanya is the Head of New and Strategic Channels, EMEA at SVB. A newly established global business area at SVB, NSC is mandated to increase our clients’ probability of success in the innovation economy by improving access to information, network and capital for overlooked and underestimated founders.
Folake joined SVB in July 2019 as Head of EMEA Warehouse Financing where she established a new high growth business are for the Fintech practice, providing scaleable debt solutions in the form of structured warehouse financing.
Ruarí Phillips is a Director at Silicon Valley Bank. He is based in London and is responsible for the EMEA Fintech Credit Solutions team which provide bespoke debt solutions to clients in the Fintech sector, ranging from seed stage up to pre-IPO.
Ruarí began his career at Barclays where he spent 7 years in a variety of different lending roles, primarily focusing on corporate clients. He joined SVB in 2019 and spent the first few years lending to Consumer Internet companies before switching sectors last year.
Ruarí holds a Bachelors degree in Economics from the University of York.
Simon Bumfrey is head of relationship banking for Silicon Valley Bank Europe. He is responsible for relationship teams focused on innovative, fast growth technology and life science companies, supporting clients from early stage through venture capital to their transition to private equity owned or publicly listed businesses.
Simon has more than 30 years of experience in commercial banking focusing on technology, media and telecommunications businesses. Before joining SVB in 2017, Simon led teams at Barclays Bank, Bank of Ireland and Lloyds Banking Group. While at Barclays Bank, he expanded his expertise into global markets by managing the credit risk of clients located in Africa, the Caribbean and Middle East.
Simon is based in the UK and frequently spends time with teams and clients across the UK, Ireland, Germany and the Nordic countries. He is a member of the Institute of Bankers and sits on the Gender Index Strategic Advisory Board. Simon enjoys traveling and all sports.
Sonya Iovieno is Head of Venture & Growth Banking at SVB UK, where she supports high growth companies that have raised equity from Venture Capital Funds. Working with founders and their teams from Series A up to IPO, Sonya provides debt capital to help companies scale and expand. She joined SVB in 2016.
Sonya has 25 years of Corporate and Commercial Banking experience, working with FTSE 100 and FTSE 250 companies. Before her current role, she was responsible for new business origination with Mid-Market companies at Lloyds Bank.

Tomide is the Co-founder/CEO of Circuit Mind, a venture-backed startup on a mission to 100x the work of electronic engineers, teams, and companies. Circuit Mind is building intelligent software for electronics teams, enabling them to design circuits faster and better in seconds/minutes instead of weeks/months at a fraction of the cost. Before Circuit Mind, Tomide was an electronic systems engineer at BAE Systems, where he developed Heads Up Display Systems and Helmet Mounted Display Systems for jet fighter pilots and saw the problem that Circuit Mind is solving today. Circuit Mind has since raised $9 million from investors like Differential Ventures, Blackhorn ventures, Creative ventures, Episode 1, Join Capital, Pete Hutton (Former executive at ARM), Carl-Peter Forster (Former CEO of Tata motors), and won the best Design Software/Development Tool at this year’s British Engineering Excellence Awards.
