In the current economic climate, fundraising can be challenging! Join us for our April Fundraising Workshop with guest speaker Amy Wu Martin, Partner at Menlo Ventures. Amy is a veteran Series A consumer investor with experience backing founders at the forefront of emerging platform shifts, like Gen AI.Â
At Menlo Ventures, Amy's focus is to grow the firm’s consumer practice focused on AI applications, commerce tech and gaming. Previous to Menlo Ventures, her extensive career includes leading investments in blockchain, gaming and Web3 at firms such as FTX Ventures and Lightspeed Venture Partners. At FTX Ventures she invested in Sui, Soba Studios, TripleDot Studios, Yuga Labs and Doodles. At Lightspeed she invested in Epic Games, Faraway Games, Weee!, Webull, Arbitrum and Alchemy. Amy brings both operating and investing chops to the table, working as CFO of Discovery Asia-Pacific before moving in venture. Â
During the workshop, we’ll discuss ways to navigate the current macro-economic landscape and Amy will share her views on the Series A outlook for the consumer social, AI, and gaming landscape. Â
In person space is limited. After registering, you'll receive a confirmation email based on availability. If the event is full, please RSVP to attend virtually. Food and refreshments will be provided at in-person events.Â
