Thank you for joining SVB's Access to Innovation and theBoardlist for our exclusive virtual event on Thursday, September 16th at 12:00pm PST.

Moderated by theBoardlist CEO, Shannon Gordon, this event explored the growing demand for diverse board talent and provided valuable guidance for identifying and securing a board role that is right for you.

We brought together an experienced panel of board directors — including Mandy Fields, CFO at e.l.f. Cosmetics, Asmau Ahmed, Senior Executive at Google X, and Shehnaaz Suliman, President & COO at Alector — for an authentic discussion around their own unique journeys to the board room and the lessons they have learned along the way, including:

     - The importance of networking when searching for a board role

     - How to know if an opportunity is right for you

     - What to expect as a board director
