Dan Allred is a Senior Market Manager for Silicon Valley Bank, leading SVB’s National Fintech and Payments Strategy teams, responsible for the Fintech clients in San Francisco, New York, and Boston, as well as payments enablement strategy and solutions for clients across the globe. Prior to this role, Dan led the tech banking group in Boston. Dan has led by directly engaging the most influential clients, prospects, and investors in the market and aligning colleagues and internal resources to deliver financial services and solutions to help tech companies grow and succeed. Prior to his current role as a group leader, Dan led multiple teams for SVB in the Boston and Durham NC markets.
Dan Caputo is a Director with Silicon Valley Bank’s Fintech team, and co-launched SVB’s NY Fintech Practice in 2018. He and his team work to drive meaningful, positive change in financial services. Dan has been with SVB for over eight years, and has contributed to the growth and success of SVB’s leading tech clients. Dan graduated from New York University and is an avid Giants, Peloton and music fan.
Ilana Fass is a vice president with Silicon Valley Bank’s Fintech team, where she partners closely with entrepreneurs, investors and influencers across the national fintech ecosystem. Her creative thinking and passion for entrepreneurship drive Ilana to always look for the best possible solutions for her clients. Prior to joining SVB, Ilana was the FinTech Platform Lead for Barclays in New York City, and she has worked with startups in the fintech space for the past six years. In addition to banking, her specialty is building relationships and bridges between diverse regions; she has launched successful fintech innovation communities in both Tel Aviv and New York.
Brian Foley is a Managing Director at Silicon Valley Bank (SVB) where he co-heads the Warehouse Finance Practice. Brian has deep professional experience in Asset-Based lending, including warehouse lending and ABS structuring, particularly in the Fintech space. Asset class experience includes consumer, small business, residential real estate, auto, solar credits, and mortgage lending. Other experience includes Structured Products, total return swaps, lending, bank funding, and regulatory capital. Functions include banking, analytics, and marketing. Prior to joining SVB Brian spent 7 years at Macquarie Group as a Managing Director in the Credit Markets Division. Previous work experience includes ABS, CDO, and TRS structuring and origination along with unwinding the legacy structured product asset book for Bank of America Merrill Lynch, including CDOs and Auction Rate Securities. Brian holds a BBA from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from Sloan School of Management at MIT.

Chris Harris is Managing Director, Payments Strategy and Solutions. Chris leads a team focused on helping SVB’s fintech and software clients embed SVB’s payments capabilities into their products to power the payment flows that are core to their business models. Chris has been with SVB for 7 years and previously was a product manager within Citi’s commercial payments division.
Sophie McNaught is a Director for Silicon Valley Bank’s Corporate Relationship Management Group. Sophie is responsible for SVB’s relationships with the Venture Capital, Corporate Development and Innovation divisions of Fortune 500 financial services companies and has been instrumental in building SVB’s corporate venture capital advisory practice. Sophie was formerly a Senior Fintech Strategist for SVB’s Payments Strategy team, working on strategic fintech initiatives across the bank -- leveraging the bank’s infrastructure and banking network to bring innovative solutions to market with emerging fintech companies. She was also responsible for SVB’s portfolio of early stage fintech investments through SVB’s accelerator program. Prior to SVB, Sophie was a Corporate Attorney at King & Wood Mallesons in Hong Kong and Australia, specializing in Financial Services M&A and Financial Regulation. Sophie graduated with honors from Bond University, Australia, where she earned a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Commerce, with a major in Accounting. Sophie is native to Australia and currently lives in San Francisco.
Dave Mullen is an Investor at SVB Capital where he covers FinTech for the platform’s direct investing strategy, a continuation of his work within financial services organizations his entire career. Previously, Dave was an investor at Wells Fargo Strategic Capital, the principal investment arm of Wells Fargo where he focused on venture growth investments in the technology sector. Dave started his career with J.P. Morgan in the Leveraged Finance division of the Investment Bank where he was responsible for raising debt capital for both sponsor buyout and M&A transactions. Dave earned an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business with concentrations in Economics, Analytic Finance, and Entrepreneurship and has a B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Georgia. Dave currently serves as a lead of the EVCA’s PropTech vertical, where he focuses on engagement and programming for all things PropTech and is also an active mentor and former programming board member of StartOut.
