Flavia Araujo Trento is a managing director, private wealth advisor for SVB Private, a division of First Citizens Bank, in the San Francisco Bay Area. She develops comprehensive, customized wealth management strategies for high-net-worth individuals, families, foundations, and trusts. In addition, she has more than 15 years of experience as an equity analyst and portfolio manager with firms that include HighMark Capital Management, Harris Bretall Sullivan & Smith LLC, Montgomery Asset Management, and Kayne Anderson Rudnick LLC.

A native of Brazil, Flavia lives in the San Francisco East Bay with her husband and their two teenagers. She enjoys international travel and reading.
Ryan is a managing director, private wealth advisor for SVB Private, a division of First Citizens Bank, in the San Francisco Bay Area. In his role, he develops, implements, and manages comprehensive wealth strategies for high-net-worth individuals, families, foundations, and trusts. Ryan has extensive knowledge and experience working with the principals driving the innovation economy and is a thought leader in environmental, social and governance (ESG) investing and sustainable investment strategies.
Before joining SVB Private in 2021, Ryan was a senior vice president, senior portfolio manager at the Northern Trust Company. Earlier, he worked in wealth management and investment roles at HighMarkCapital Management, Alexander Capital Advisors, and Merrill Lynch, where he constructed portfolios, managed research, and traded for a long/short hedge fund.
Ryan holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and history from Boston College. He lives in Mill Valley with his wife and their three children. In his spare time, he enjoys the outdoors, cycling and reading.
Natalie Steck is a Managing Director of Technology Banking at Silicon Valley Bank. In this role, she’s responsible for the enterprise/B2B portfolio for accelerator and growth companies in the Seattle, area. In addition to providing clients with comprehensive banking needs via SVB’s world-class banking suite, Natalie is focused on adding value beyond the banking platform. In particular, she enjoys introducing clients to investors and partners and hosting numerous networking events that connect clients with peers, colleagues and the greater investor network.

Natalie joined SVB in 2021. She has more than 20 years of experience as a marketing guru and has been responsible for global revenue generation and GTM efforts for many tech and consulting companies. As a former founder and CEO, she also brings a deep level of understanding to the needs of SVB’s clients and relishes the opportunity to make a meaningful impact, solve problems and increase clients’ probability of success.

Originally from Australia, Natalie has lived in Seattle for 10 years. Outside of work, she volunteers for mentoring organizations such as Upnotch and MicroMentor and enjoys helping young professionals navigate their careers. She’s also enthusiastic about health and fitness and is a qualified personal trainer and nutritional therapy practitioner. Natalie has competed in natural amateur body building and hopes to write a cookbook someday.
Rob Derry is a Sr. Liquidity Advisor based in Seattle, where he and his colleagues lead the client relationship and business development strategy that positions SVB’s liquidity products and investment management capabilities to meet the ever-evolving demands of the bank’s corporate cash management clients. He and his team are focused on building and strengthening relationships with clients and making sure they are aligned with their primary liquidity, preservation of capital, and income optimization investment objectives.  Â

Since joining SVB in 2004, Rob has been a trusted partner to hundreds of fast-moving private and public technology companies, helping them utilize SVB Asset Management’s Registered Investment Advisory  capabilities to efficiently navigate their growth stages. He grew up in the northwest and holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Washington.Â
