Krista Kim is the founding attorney of Valence Law Group, PC, a boutique transactional real estate firm.
Krista drafts and negotiates commercial leases for clients in a wide range of industries, including technology, life sciences, financial services, and retail. She negotiates leases of all sizes, ranging from smaller office leases to large headquarters and full building lease transactions. She serves as national real estate counsel to companies with multiple offices throughout the United States and helps these clients expertly manage their real estate portfolio, including shifting footprints in different markets. She regularly advises on work letters and construction contracts for tenant improvements, assists with expansions and renewals, and drafts and negotiates subleases and other occupancy agreements. Krista also advises on lease terminations, lease workouts, and restructures. Krista brings a practical, solution-oriented approach to commercial lease transactions and navigates complexity with ease.
Before starting Valence in 2012, Krista practiced in the real estate group of a large law firm in San Francisco. Krista received her B.S. from the University of California, Berkeley in 2000 and her J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2004.
