Founding Dean / Professor of China Business & Globalization

Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business (CKGSB)

Dr. Xiang is the Founding Dean (2002) and Professor of China Business and Globalization at Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business (CKGSB), China’s first faculty-governed, independent and private business school.


Dr. Xiang is a leading authority on China business. His insights on the innovations in China, globalization of Chinese companies, China’s development models, global implications of China’s transformation, social innovation, economic disruption, China-US relations, global trade and investment systems and global governance have been widely acclaimed.


He has served as an independent board member of a number of companies, including three Fortune Global 500 companies. In addition, Dr. Xiang has served as keynote speaker at influential forums and conferences around the world. 

Alan Beebe

President

American Chamber of Commerce in China (AmCham China)

Alan Beebe is President of the American Chamber of Commerce in China (AmCham China) in Beijing.


He has lived in Mainland China for twenty years. As President since 2016, Alan supports the growth of nearly 900 foreign companies investing and operating in China, including most of the U.S. Fortune 500. He leads advocacy efforts related to market access, cybersecurity, U.S. – China commercial relations, and other challenges for U.S. business in China.

 

Prior to AmCham China, Alan held positions in China with EY, IBM, and management consulting firms AT Kearney and PRTM. He also led a Beijing-based start-up, the China Greentech Initiative, which merged in 2014 with the Paulson Institute, founded by former Treasury Secretary Hank Paulson.

Edith Yeung

General Partner

Race Capital

Edith is a General Partner at Race Capital, an early-stage Silicon Valley venture capital fund.

 

Prior to Race Capital, Edith worked at 500 Startups and Dolphin Browser. Edith also worked with many Fortune 500 companies such as Siebel, AMS, AT&T Wireless, and Autodesk. She frequently speaks on the China and Silicon Valley technology and investment landscape. She is also a frequent guest lecturer at Berkeley and Stanford and commentator on BBC, CNBC, Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, SCMP, TechCrunch, etc.
